Meet Erica

I write books to help children thrive!

Erica Basora

I'm thrilled that you stopped by my page to check out my published books.  As a first generation Latina hailing from New York, I didn't see many books for or by Latina girls. So, I combined my experience as a nurse, as a mother and my love for reading and created a series of books for girls and boys to show them diverse characters in books!

My books focus on health literacy, faith, and diversity.  I also want to be sure that all children have the opportunity to read quality books in their native language, so many of my books have been translated into another language.

I am a mother of two daughters and a Clinical Development Specialist in the operating room at a local hospital system in Georgia.  Prior to joining the surgical staff, I was a teacher for elementary and middle school students in Florida.  Today, I am the owner of That’s Love Publishing and have authored seven children’s books, six coloring books and two journals.

My first published book titled “My Mom a Proverbs 31 Woman,” provides young girls like my daughters,’ literature that is based on biblical principles.   I love helping individuals publish their God-given stories and accomplish being a published author. Erica is passionate about making sure and providing children with access to books that have representation and diverse characters.
